Hocking Hills State Park is home to the annual Wildflower and Waterfalls Hike.
Observe nature’s carpet of wildflowers and sparkling waterfalls in beautiful Hocking Hills.
Starting Point: Meet at the entrance to Ash Cave.
The hike is led through Ash Cave gorge, over the rim, and then across to the shelter house area. You do not have to be in a garden club to thoroughly enjoy this hike-bring your camera, though hikers may find some rare species of wildflowers like White Red Trillium along the trail. And for those who love the waterfalls, this hike will go around the waterfall at Ash Cave. The walk takes about 1-2 hours—a distance of 1 mile.

There are seven major hiking areas in Hocking Hills State Park - All are one-way trail systems.
Ash Cave, Old Man's Cave, Rock House, Conkle's Hollow, Cedar Falls, Cantwell Cliffs, and Whispering Cave Trail. These park areas offer a unique experience for those who walk its paths no matter what season (the park is open year-round from dawn to dusk)—located on the southern edge of Hocking County.
