Hocking Hills Cabins and Cottages

Hocking Hills State Park Camping
Hocking Hills State Park offers camping all year round - electric sites, camper cabins, group camps, and primitive sites.
Airplane Rock is a stone outcropping offering a beautiful vista view. The hike is along an old, gravel service road with forest on either side. The parking is not far from Conkle's Hollow and limited.
Shhh! Don't tell anyone else but there is no off-season in The Hocking Hills! The parks are open all-year around. And it is beautiful in all seasons. The Hocking Hills Bigfoot Festival has become the regions biggest event! Both believers, the curious, and the adventurous flock to the Hocking Hills to attend this unique event on Friday, August 2nd and Saturday, August 3rd 2024. This FREE and FAMILY-FRIENDLY Festival is located in the Ohio heart of the Hocking Hills, in downtown Logan, Ohio. From Squatch and Seek, Haunted/Bigfoot Night hikes to Noted Speaker and host Bea Mills, 2019 Bigfooter of the Year, and special guest Cliff Barackman, Bigfooter, musician, and TV show host for Finding Bigfoot.
Hocking Hills Programs
From guided night hikes through the dim recesses of Ash Cave in the spring and Bigfoot Festivals in Logan during the summer. There are snow-covered explorations for Ohio's elusive owls in the winter from Hocking College and haunted hikes with ghost stories at Moonville Tunnel. The Hocking Hills Region offers visitors fun things to do all year long!

Hocking Hills park systems are open year-round from dawn to dusk. Hikers must stay on the one-way designated trail system. Well-behaved, non-aggressive dogs are allowed in most areas, but all must be on a 6-foot leash. (Dogs are not permitted at Nature Preserves.)
There are seven major hiking areas in Hocking Hills State Park - All are one-way trail systems.
Ash Cave, Old Man's Cave, Rock House, Conkle's Hollow, Cedar Falls, Cantwell Cliffs, and Whispering Cave Trail. These park areas offer a unique experience for those who walk its paths no matter what season (the park is open year-round from dawn to dusk)—located on the southern edge of Hocking County. Hiking trails in the Hocking Hills include those at Wayne National Forest, Clear Creek Metro Parks, Lake Hope State Park, Vinton County Park District's Moonville Tunnel, and Hocking College's Robbins Crossing (with park programs) and the Athens Hock-Hocking Adena Rail Trail bikeway.
