Join with several area naturalist and birders along the Hocking Valley Birding Trail route for a variety of programs, hikes and events to celebrate the return of our avian friends.
Trying to pack an entire
bird-watchers extravaganza into one tiny weekend has never been a
difficult thing for area birders like Dave Sapienza, Pat
Quackenbush, Tom Swanson and Tom Shisler. With a little help from
their feathered friends, they have put together a diverse weekend of
birding forays all over the Hocking Hills.
Everything from bird banding to canoe rides along the Hocking River have pulled in visitors from across the United States each year for this annual event.
